Self Storage Advisors provides a wide variety of consulting services to the self storage industry. Our team members have many years of experience actually working in the self storage business. We develop, own and manage our own properties so we can provide a "real world" analysis, not just a sophomoric opinion.

Our services are either fee-based or percentage based, depending on the service performed. We can help you with the following services:

Site Selection - We help you choose from several sites you have already identified to choose the best one for self storage;
Market Studies - We can survey a market area to help you decide whether it warrants further analysis;
Feasibility Studies - We offer a more detailed analyses of a particular market/location to determine whether a self storage project will be economically viable. We offer three types of reports ranging from a generalized market study to a detailed pro-forma suitable for presentation to a lender for loan review purposes;
Facility Layout/Design - We can help layout a facility so that you get the highest land utilization and the proper mix of unit size and climate/non-climate units.
Construction Management - We can prepare a detailed construction budget for your project. We can also act as a construction manager, obtaining bids, supervising construction and helping to ensure you get the products and services contracted for.
Facility Start-Up - We can help you with setting up the onsite office, purchasing software at a discount, proper forms and office opening/closing procedures. This ensures that you are "ready to roll" when you have your grand opening.
Off-Site Management - We provide intensive off-site management services that include everything from hiring managers, paying bills, site visits/inspections to distributing revenues to owners. We provide our owners with their choice of daily, monthly quarterly or annual reporting;
Acquisition Due Diligence - We provide due diligence services to those acquiring an existing facility. Did you know there are dozens of ways you can overpay for a facility? With today's prices you must ensure that after the purchase the chance of a negative surprise is minimized. Your decision to save a few thousand dollars in poor due diligence could cost you hundreds of thousands in lost value due to post-acquisition lower income or increased expenses
